Connect and manage WhatsApp with Twilio

Open Settings > Channels > WhatsApp · Twilio. Twilio is the current integration. You need Integrations permission and a compatible plan.

Configure the connection

  1. Prepare the numbers already configured in your Twilio account.
  2. Enter Account SID and Auth Token. Messaging Service SID is optional when applicable to your configuration.
  3. Add at least one number with its international prefix, starting with + and without spaces. Avoid duplicate numbers and add a recognizable name.
  4. Save the connection.
  5. Copy the incoming messages URL from FROGED and configure it in the corresponding Twilio messaging entry. Check reception using a test number.

Do not copy a URL from another workspace. It contains verification information and must be treated as sensitive data. Also hide tokens and credentials in screenshots.

For an existing connection, leaving the Auth Token field blank preserves the current token. Review the numbers before saving any change.

Closed conversations

The option to create a new conversation when the previous one expires accepts a period from 0 to 24 hours after closure. After that period, subsequent messages open another conversation according to this configuration.

This FROGED timer does not delay message sending and is not the WhatsApp service window. It neither renews that window nor replaces the need for a template when required.

Disconnect

Disconnecting requires confirmation and interrupts reception through this connection. It does not delete Twilio numbers. Coordinate with your team first; do not use it as a routine troubleshooting step.
