Group users by company

In FROGED there are 2 types of contacts: users and companies. A user is a known customer or individual and a company is a group of users belonging to the same enterprise or organization. However, companies can be used for different purposes (companies, customer portfolios, institutions...) depending on how customers are classified.

A user can belong to one or several companies, but one of them is considered the main company or by default, it is marked with a verified icon.




Edit companies of a user

In a user's profile, in the details tab, a card appears with the companies associated with the user. To add companies, click on the add button and check or uncheck the desired companies in the list.



The first company that is added to a user is the one that is defined as the main or default company, but you can change it to another one in the options menu. You can also delete or open the company profile in this same button.



The companies assigned to a user can not only be viewed in the profile, but also in the details window of a conversation. This window contains relevant information about the conversation and the customer so that you don't have to open the profile when using the inbox.

In the companies section, companies can be added to the user via the + button and the main company can be modified in the options menu, just like in the user's profile.


In the list of user attributes there is one called Company which corresponds to the main company, even if you have more than one assigned.

On the other hand, if you do not want to apply the concept of company in your business model, you can use the text attribute Organization to note the group or company to which a user belongs.

Finally, if you need to add or remove companies to a user without going to the profile, from the contact table open the options menu and select Add company to open the list.




Edit users belonging to a company

The list of users who belong to or are members of a company is consulted in the company profile in the second tab. At the top of the table, the total value of users is shown and in the options button you can add and delete from the dropdown.



In the same table you can remove users from the company one by one in your options menu.


In addition, in the company profile you can start a conversation with one, several or even all the members if there are less than 20 of them by clicking on the Send message button.

Finally, if you need to add or remove users from a company without going to the profile, from the company table open the options menu and select Add users to open the list.

Identifiers and duplicates

Check the record and its identifier before changing data or importing information. Sharing an email must not be interpreted as an instruction to merge profiles. See precautions for contact identity and deletion.

Customize table columns

In Contacts, open Users or Companies and click Columns in the header to open Choose columns.

  1. Search for a field by name.
  2. Check the fields you want to show, including available custom attributes.
  3. Reorder selected columns with the up and down controls.
  4. Click Apply and check the table.

The Name column stays visible and first. Reset restores the entity's default selection; apply the change afterward to save it. Cancel closes without saving the editor's selection. Mobile keeps the compact view; selected columns appear on larger screens.

The preference is saved per agent and workspace, separately for Users and Companies. It does not change data, segment filters or an export's field selection. It is also separate from attribute visibility on a contact profile.

If preferences or attributes cannot load, use the panel's retry before changing the selection. A failed save must not be interpreted as an applied change.
