In addition to the default FROGED segments, you can create others that meet specific rules or filters. This is useful for classifying customers based on business needs: location, tags, activity, customer portfolios, etc.

Introduction to FROGED contacts
Contacts are collected in FROGED in tables to make data queries easier. There are 2 types of contacts that are displayed in 2 independent sections:
- Users
- Companies
Both types of contacts are organized in FROGED with segments. A segment is a grouping of contacts that meet specific rules or filters.

- Public: all agents in the workspace have access
- Private: only the agent who creates the segment can access
- Protected: some agents with an enabled permission have access

Search contacts
The total value of contacts in a segment is displayed at the top of the table next to a menu of options. On the same line to the right is a search that allows you to search for contacts by entering text. The search is performed on the attributes (columns) that contain text and characters such as name, ID, email, telephone...
Remember to add the number of characters necessary to identify a word or number, we recommend at least 4.
The contact table is paginated to improve performance and data loading. In addition, this helps to locate the position of the contacts in the table quickly.

In addition to the search engine in the contacts view itself, there is a quick contact finder that can be used from anywhere in the product, it is in the top navigation bar. Click on the magnifying glass or press ⌘/Alt + K to open the quick search in the centre of the screen. Thanks to this search engine you can find users and companies quickly and easily.

In the results you can select a contact to go to their profile or if there are many, click on view all to open the contact table with the results.
Start a conversation with a contact
From the users and companies view, you can start a conversation with one or more users at once through one of the communication channels connected to the workspace. The audience limit for selected contacts is 20 users, beyond that, campaigns must be used.
