The available content options depend on the conversation's channel. Before attaching information, check the recipient, the channel and whether you are writing a message or an internal note.
Attach a file
- Open the conversation and use the editor's attachment control.
- Select the file you need to send.
- Review the name, content and any size or format warning.
- Check your selection before confirming the send.
The frontend file selector limits size to 25 MB. The provider or channel may impose additional restrictions, so a file within this limit is not guaranteed to work on every channel.
Voice notes
When the channel shows an audio recording option, allow microphone access and review the recording before sending it. A permanent microphone permission does not mean that every channel supports voice notes.
WhatsApp outside the service window
If the service window has expired, attaching a file does not remove the requirement for an approved template. First review WhatsApp's sending conditions and the customer's most recent reply.
If a file fails
Check its size and format, the channel and the conversation status. If you do not know whether it was sent, check the history before repeating the action. Avoid sending multiple copies of the same file to the customer.
Attachments may contain personal data. Check that you are sharing only the necessary document with the correct recipient.
