Export conversations to CSV

You can request a CSV file containing data about conversations created during a period and check the request status in the export history.

Before you start

Your workspace plan must include conversation exports, and your agent account must have permission to export. If this section is not available, ask your administrator to check both requirements.

Request the file

  1. Open Settings > Data > Export.
  2. Select the Export tab and click Export conversations to open the date selector.
  3. Select the start and end dates. Each request can cover a maximum of six months.
  4. Review the interval and click Confirm export.
  5. Return to the History tab to check the status.
  6. Once the export is complete, use the download option in its history entry.

The period selects conversations by their creation date. It does not mean all conversations that received a message during those dates. Processing uses the workspace time zone to build the interval.

What the CSV contains

The file includes one row per conversation, with data such as the identifier, subject, channel, activity and closing dates, last message, rating, contact, agent, company, team and tags where available.

It is not a complete transcript of every message or a copy of the attachments. To review the full content, open the conversation and use the transcript or content features available for its channel.

If a request fails

Check the status in History and any notification that appears. Check the dates and permissions before submitting another request. If a request at the exact six-month limit fails, reduce the interval and report the case to support. Refreshing the list does not start another export.

The file may contain personal data and support content. Limit access to people who need it, and follow your organization's retention and deletion procedures.
