Add contacts
The FROGED contacts section contains a list of users or clients, like an address book with the most important details. Add a new contact by selecting the button in the top right-hand corner.

To add a user you need to fill in the information fields, minimum name and email or name and user ID:
- Name
- User ID

Remember that there cannot be users with the same user ID. Therefore, if when adding a new user, the user ID exists in the workspace, a warning will be displayed to modify this attribute.
In the list of companies there is another similar button to add or create a new company. In this case, it is necessary to complete the 2 information fields:

Import contacts
When you create a new workspace in FROGED and need to upload information for a large number of contacts or clients, we recommend using the import function. Agents need permission to perform imports.
Individuals can be imported from the users view or groups from the companies view. In addition, if users are added with the complete company attribute with a value that does not exist in FROGED, the new associated companies are created.
To import contacts, click the import button at the top right.

In the window that opens, there is a space to drag or select a CSV file with the new contact information. You can also check the option at the bottom to label the imported contacts with a blue label with the import date (import_01-09-25) to quickly and easily create segments with them.

Once the CSV file has been uploaded, select the import button. A message will then appear informing you that the file has been successfully uploaded and that the contact import process has begun. This process may take some time depending on the amount of information in the file. While the contacts are being imported, you can continue working in FROGED without interrupting the process.

When import is finished, an email is sent to uploading agent. In the email you can see a summary of what has happened:
- Processed contacts
- Imported contacts
- Missed contacts
- Typing errors
- Missing information or attributes
After reviewing the email you received, you can check the FROGED contacts to ensure that the users or companies have been created correctly in the table.

Remember that if you need to assign an owner agent to the imported companies so that they always handle conversations, you must complete the owner attribute with the agent's name.
Instructions for importing contacts
In order to import contacts correctly you must follow instructions below:
- Use CSV template that is downloaded in import window
- Maximum of 10 MB CSV file weight
- CSV file with attributes of contacts separated by commas
- Each user must have complete attributes ‘user ID’ and ‘email’
- Each company must have complete ‘company ID’ attribute
- The format of date fields must be yyyy/mm/dd
- The field containing a comma must be enclosed in double quotes, e.g. ‘21st Street, 4th Floor’
- Use double quotes to separate within a quoted field, e.g. ‘Company’‘ABC’‘Inc’
Consult import history
In the FROGED data settings, you can view all imports made in the workspace to keep your data uploads organised and under control. Company and user imports are separated into two different tables.
In the tables, you can analyse the results of the imported contacts, who imported them and when, the imported file, and the import status.

If the import contains errors or was not successful, you can download the same file (at the end of the row) to modify the data and re-import it.
