Create WhatsApp message templates in FROGED
WhatsApp templates have the limitations of channel integration. They need to have a specific content and structure, so the creation flow is different from the other channels.
To create a new WhatsApp template from inbox:

- The channel button of the conversation must have the WhatsApp option.
- The list of message templates is opened from the second button of the Actions.
- Click the Create message template button at the bottom.

The first step to create a WhatsApp template is to select an option from the table where the templates saved in the associated Twilio account are displayed. There are several types of templates depending on their content: text, media, actions and quick replies.

The second step is to assign contact and agent variables to the empty slots in the template body. When an attribute is selected, an alternative value must be added which is sent when attribute is empty in customer data.
This step allows you to visualize what the message will look like when the customer receives it.

The third step is to add a name to the template before saving.

Manage templates from settings
In the settings section of FROGED, you can create and manage all message templates, including those for WhatsApp. To create a new template, simply click the button at the top and select the desired channel. Additionally, from the table, you can edit, duplicate, delete, and view the history of the templates.
