Send a WhatsApp campaign

Send WhatsApp messages to a large number of customers thanks to FROGED campaigns.

To send any commercial communication through the WhatsApp channel, you need to configure the integration and have approved templates in Twilio administrator. For more information, see the article Create WhatsApp templates in Twilio.

Once the templates exist in Twilio, FROGED's own templates must be generated to send campaigns via WhatsApp. To learn how to create these templates, see the article Create a WhatsApp campaign template.

A new campaign is created by clicking on the top right button and the '+' in the side menu. When you click on it, the list of channels appears and you have to select the one you need for the campaign, in this case WhatsApp.



  1. Select audience.
    In the first step, you choose the contacts who will receive the campaign. At the top, you select a sender agent for the campaign and one of its available segments.



  2. Customize content.
    The second step is to choose a WhatsApp campaign template already created in the workspace. When a template is selected, the content is previewed on the device on the right.

    Remember that the agent-related attributes take the sender information configured in the previous step.



  3. Complete details.
    The third step is to fill in the details of the campaign. A name must be added and optionally a label must be assigned. In addition, if there are several telephone numbers in the workspace, you can choose from which one the campaign will be sent.

    Finally, the type of sending is configured. There are 3 options:

    • Save the campaign as a draft
    • Schedule the sending of the campaign for a specific date and time.
    • Send the campaign now





Edit a campaign

Campaigns that are in draft and scheduled for sending can be edited because they have not yet been sent. To do this, go to the options menu on the right and click on ‘edit’. You can modify the data of any of the 3 steps: audience, content and details.



If you want to modify the sending status of a campaign, in the same menu there are direct actions to send the campaign immediately and to schedule the sending at a date and time.



To delete a campaign, regardless of its status, there is the option delete in the actions menu. If sent campaigns are deleted, performance data and results are lost and cannot be recovered.




Duplicate a campaign

If a sent campaign has a high response rate and you want to reuse it for another customer segment, you can duplicate this campaign and modify the necessary data for sending.

A campaign is duplicated in the 'duplicate ’ option in the options menu. The new campaign appears in the list immediately with the same name and the number of the duplicate (1).





Download a campaign report

When a campaign is sent, the events of the message are logged according to the audience.

In the list of all campaigns and within each one, a summary of the main metrics is displayed. However, in the last tab of the sent campaigns are all the results and performance graphs.

To download a report with the campaign data for each contact, click on the ‘download report in CSV’ option in the options menu or on the 'download report ’ button at the top of the campaign itself.
