Install FROGED app on desktop and mobile device

FROGED is available as a Progressive Web Application (PWA), allowing it to be easily installed on both desktop and mobile devices. This functionality enhances the user experience by offering direct access, optimised performance and a smoother interface, without the need to download the app from an official shop.

The benefits of installing FROGED as a PWA are:

  • Increased speed and performance
  • Cleaner and more focused interface
  • Lower resource consumption
  • No manual updates required
Here's how to install FROGED on the most common browsers:



Desktop installation (Windows, macOS, Linux)

Google Chrome

  1. Access the FROGED app from Chrome:
  2. Click on the install icon in the address bar (a screen with a down arrow).
  3. Confirm the installation by clicking on ‘Install’.
Once installed, FROGED will open in a separate window, just like any other desktop application. You can also pin it to your taskbar or start menu for quicker access.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Access the FROGED app from Edge:
  2. Click on the three dots icon (⋯) on the top right.
  3. Go to ‘Apps’ > ‘Install this site as an application’.
  4. Click ‘Install’ to confirm.
FROGED will be installed as a standalone app and you will be able to access it from the desktop or the start menu.



Installation on mobile devices

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome and access FROGED:
  2. At the bottom of the screen, you should see a notification that says ‘Add FROGED to home screen’. Click on it.
    If it doesn't appear automatically:
    • Tap the three-dot icon (⋮) in the top right corner.
    • Select ‘Add to home screen’.
  3. Tap ‘Add’ and then ‘Add automatically’ or ‘Drag manually'.
The app will be added to the home screen and will function as a native application.



iOS (Safari)

  1. Open Safari and access FROGED:
  2. Click the 'Share' icon (up arrow box) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select 'Add to Home Screen'.
  4. Customize the name if you wish (e.g. ‘FROGED’) and press ‘Add’.
You will now see the FROGED icon on the home screen, which you can access as if it were a native app.

Important: the voice call channel is not available for mobile devices, so the telephone icon will not appear in the nav bar. We are working on it!
